Sep 01, 2012 Kanpur: The forms of JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) Mains 2013 examinations, recommend for admissions in IIT, IIIT and NIT, can be filled from September 28 onwards. The proposal on the same has been sent to the Joint Admission Board (JAB). A meeting to be held next week in Delhi may approve the proposal. The board may even decide on the form distribution & retail and date of submission.
CBSE will assist the Joint Apex Board (JAB) in conducting JEE Mains 2013, for which the preparation are on the go, and a website is underway for online filling of forms. Professor Falguni Gupta, Chairman of JEE (advance) for the IIT Kanpur vicinity, informed that groundwork for the proposed entrance admission examination is complete.
The data of the 1.5 lac students, who will barge through JEE Mains, will be provided to IIT Delhi. This data will be made from the top 20 percent students of 44 boards from all over India, which will be used for conducting JEE Advance. The successful candidates of the examination will receive an opportunity to get admissions in the B Tech and BE programs of IIT, IIIT and NIT.
The preparations for JEE Advance have been initiated in IIT Kanpur, Mumbai, Delhi, Roorkee and it’s Kharagpur vicinity.
